Blotto

This new virus called "Blotto" is the most destructive ever. It will physically destroy your computer! It will destroy your hard drive by telling it to read a certain track (portion) 65,535 times! That will cause the drive to severly overheat and eventually that destroys the drive. It also tells the computer to sit on a certain register until the circuitboard underneath literally melts!

IT COMES FROM EMAIL. IF YOU GET AN EMAIL SAYING "WANT TO PLAY BLOTTO?" DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY AND DON'T OPEN THE ATTACHMENT!

PLEASE Send this to everyone you know to warn them.

Muchos bulos de virus:

• afirman describir un nuevo virus extremadamente peligroso
• usan verborrea técnica para impresionar con afirmaciones imposibles
• afirman que el mensaje proviene de una importante compañía
• piden que pases el mensaje a todas las personas posibles

Como es natural, se le recomienda no enviar mensajes de este tipo a todos sus contactos ya que el reenvío constante de estos mensajes es una pérdida de tiempo y de recursos.

Es posible que estos mensajes lleguen acompañados de un archivo. Por supuesto, no debe abrir estos archivos ya que podrían estar infectados. Sophos recomienda borrar estos bulos sin más consideración.
